This summer, we're launching an exciting SPLASH THROUGH SUMMER Video Competition where you can show us what you get up to this summer on your paddling adventures and have a chance to win amazing prizes from Peak UK and Cardiff International White Water! 🌟
How to Enter
Film Your Adventure: Create a 1-2 minute video featuring your best summer kayaking moments. Get creative—tell a story, capture the journeys, or share your most memorable experience! You can use a mixture of photos and videos if you prefer or just videos, it’s up to you!
Use Our Template: Download the provided intro templates below and use this at the beginning of your video.
Submit Your Video: Upload your final video to Instagram, Facebook or YouTube (make sure you set it to public and tag @serendwr and our sponsors Peak UK and CIWW!) and make sure you send a copy of the video to serendwrslalom@gmail.com
Winners will be revealed on the 15th September via our social media and during Thursday Club Night where there will be Prize Giving.

Choose your dimension! Landscape or Portrait?, make sure all your videos are recorded in the same dimension so there aren’t any changes in screen when stitching them together. This makes the video seamless. You can add text and stickers but make sure it doesn’t distract from your cool kayaking skills!

Use free desktop editing software such as iMovie or Microsoft Clipchamp or if you prefer you can create via social media editing software – it’s up to you!

Use transitions with audio and stitching videos to avoid sudden audio changes and jerky screen changes.
